Commotio Cordis was a guess -- a good one at the time. But I do not hear that anymore and the doctors I talk to say the hit did not look hard enough. It is usually something like a fist, hockey puck, or ball coming 100 mph at the heart. They call it a concussion of the heart.
The NFL checks quite frequently for heart conditions that may cause cardiac arrest. Thus the guess of Commotio Cordis made even more sense...to them at the time. But very soon after....legitimate question arose. But these docs were told to shut up and quit spreading conspiracies.
My point is...the next question should be was it the Covid vaccine shot that caused Myocarditis or inflammation that led to a cardiac arrest in Hamlin. Dr. McCullough and Dr. Scott Malone [and others] have research and published much on this.

Offhand, I would say commodio cortis is a better "guess" than the aftereffects of vaccines. Actually, not offhand. American Heart Assn. cites a survey of 43 million who had been vaccinated between Dec. 2020 and Dec. 2021, finding that myocarditis was more prevalent in Covid victims than Covid vaccine recipients. Those who were hospitalized or died of myocarditis made up 0.007 percent, not 17 percent, of the survey.

But is speculating whether the COVID-19 vaccines are unintentionally to blame for the rise in cardiac events really promoting тАЬvaccine misinformationтАЭ? After all, according to the New York Times, the NFL mandated boosters in December 2021, despite the fact that nearly 95 percent of their players were vaccinated. Furthermore, it is now extremely well documented in the scientific literature that myocarditis (heart inflammation), is a known risk of COVID-19 vaccines, and that it disproportionately affects young men.
In addition, a 2021 peer-reviewed case series suggested that a history of myocarditis increases the risk of commotio cordis. In other words, sudden cardiac death in contact sports is increased by myocarditis.
Furthermore, a large study co-authored by a team of preeminent (and entirely тАЬpro-vaccineтАЭ) university-associated medical doctors specifically argued that boosters did not make ethical or medical sense for college students. Their work showed that the shots would generate 18 actual serious adverse events for every COVID-19 hospitalization theoretically prevented.
There are countries so concerned with this balance of risk vs benefits....they are pausing the vaccine jabs. The CDC has now mentioned it will look into the VAERS recorded issues....that are yet unproven and only relational....but enough to be looked at. This is only a vaccine authorized for Emergency Use only. It has not been thoroughly tested and officially approved. Most countries, that are worried, are suggesting only those over 65 take the jab.
